Fueled by the growing fame of the True Blood HBO series, I went out on a limb and purchased the 8 book box set of The Sookie Stackhouse series. Well, I am officially hooked and have read three of the novels in a short time. I am excited to watch and compare the books to the show.

Although I got a set of 8 new books, they where not in the cover art or size advertised and the binging is cheap so the spins crack very easily and I fear it will not take longs for the books to fall apart.

When I first started to watch the show True Blood, I was so captivated that I decided to buy all the books. The paperback boxed set is a great deal since each book is around $9.00 CA and for $45.00 you get 8 books (you save almost $30.00). The books are really good. I loved the first four and even if some of the books after that are less interesting to my opinion, I don't regret reading them!

Really great value !!! Awesome books ! Box set contains book from 1 to 8, I bought the 9th book separately, and I am waiting for the #10 to be released at the 9.00 or so price :) Really really great stories, really light, easy to read. The author is not that talented for writing ... (always the same kinda plot -- story line, from one book to another) but she sure has a great imagination and is creative. A pages turner.Read the whole 9 books in less than 3 weeks lol :)
